Tencent Japan, established in 2011, operates from two offices in Tokyo’s Toranomon area—Business Tower and Mori Tower—and opened a new office in Osaka in 2024. It supports major business groups including Interactive Entertainment (IEG), featuring top game studios such as Timi Studio and Lightspeed Studios, as well as WeChat Payment (WXG) and Cloud & Smart Industries (CSIG). With strong back-office functions, Tencent Japan contributes to Tencent’s global strategy of “Tech for Good,” fostering innovation across gaming, cloud services, and digital solutions while promoting sustainable growth and collaboration in Japan and beyond.
